Follow this  5-step guide with simple actions that you can take to be better prepared for emergencies that may impact you and your community such as severe weather, flooding or a utility outage.

The '5-steps' campaign

The new campaign is designed to highlight to residents what they can do to help themselves become more self-resilient in the event of emergencies, by giving them practical tips that can prove very useful should the unexpected happen.

 

What can you do to help share the 5-steps campaign?​​

The 5-steps guide has been created to be shared with residents. You can do this in any of the following ways:

  • Download and print the 5-steps A4 sized poster to display on your notice board and around your community

  • Include the 5-steps guide in your local resident newsletter

  • Share this  5-steps campaign web page.

  • Organise a leaflet drop in your area with the 5-steps A5 sized flyer

  • Share on your parish and community social media channels, including any Facebook, Nextdoor or WhatsApp groups.
